Sylvan provided mechanical labor services for a large municipal utility infrastructure project supporting essential public services across a broad regional service area. The scope of work included the installation of large-diameter mechanical piping systems, complete with structural hangers, within a highly congested and active work environment. The installation effort consisted of multiple large pipe connections across various diameters, requiring precise bolt-up execution and careful coordination to maintain safety and efficiency. Sylvan staffed the project with an eight-person craft crew that performed all installation activities while working alongside other trades and operations in limited-access conditions.
The project was completed successfully through disciplined execution, skilled craftsmanship, and effective crew coordination despite challenging spatial constraints. Sylvan completed approximately 8,000 labor hours while maintaining steady productivity and quality across all required installations. The team delivered all pipe connections and hanger installations to specification, demonstrating the ability to perform complex mechanical work in congested utility environments. The successful completion of this project highlighted Sylvan’s capacity to support critical infrastructure upgrades through experienced labor, strong field supervision, and consistent performance under demanding site conditions.
As part of a multi-year modernization program at a 3M sq. ft. automotive assembly facility, Sylvan provided complete General Assembly conveyor and tooling upgrades, along with the installation of a new Robotic Wet 3 paint system.
