The Customer Challenge

Faced with an aggressive one-year construction schedule and the need for a highly coordinated, skilled workforce, the Project Phoenix team required a mechanical partner capable of rapid mobilization and seamless collaboration across trades. The project’s scale and pace required precise planning, strong collaboration, and on-site leadership to keep multiple trades aligned and on schedule.

The Sylvan Solution

Sylvan took a strategic, collaborative approach to deliver comprehensive mechanical piping and sheet metal services for the project. The scope included the installation of HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, gas and water connections, along with the complete siphonic storm drain system inside the building—representing a significant portion of the mechanical package. Sylvan assembled a team of trusted subcontractors, in addition to our own crew, and leveraged strong partnerships with local unions to source skilled labor. To maintain schedule and efficiency, Sylvan also led a dedicated night shift, ensuring continuous progress around the clock. Consistent field coordination and communication across trades were key to keeping the project on track.

The Results

With more than 257,000 man-hours completed, Sylvan successfully delivered high-quality work within a demanding schedule. The team’s leadership, coordination, and craftsmanship were instrumental in bringing Project Phoenix to life—reinforcing Sylvan’s reputation as a trusted and capable mechanical contractor known for rising above complex challenges.
