Patrick O’Reilly is Vice President of Construction for Sylvan’s Process & Conveyor Group across North America. A highly accomplished millwright tradesman with more than 25 years of experience in industrial construction, Patrick provides strategic leadership for the planning, execution, and delivery of complex process and conveyor projects throughout North America. His expertise spans project management, estimation, operations, and field execution, enabling customers to successfully complete critical manufacturing, automotive, steel, and industrial initiatives with confidence and precision.
Throughout his career, Patrick has led numerous high-profile programs and facility transformations for some of North America’s largest manufacturers, including Ford, General Motors, Stellantis (FCA), and U.S. Steel. His experience includes major conveyor system overhauls, assembly line installations, plant retrofits, and large-scale industrial construction projects requiring exacting standards of safety, quality, and performance. Most recently, Patrick played a key leadership role in the successful launch of Ford’s P708 Super Duty Program in Oakville, overseeing the mobilization and execution of more than 1,500 tradespeople under Sylvan’s leadership, delivering one of the company’s most significant and complex programs.
Known for his hands-on approach, technical expertise, and commitment to operational excellence, Patrick has built a reputation for delivering challenging projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. His extensive training and certifications in millwrighting, welding, rigging, and first aid reinforce his dedication to quality craftsmanship and workforce development.
Patrick holds a Certificate of Qualification from George Brown College and has completed additional training in mechanical engineering, turbine certification, and various safety programs.
