Vice President of Operations

Eric Farron is our Vice President of Operations for Sylvan Canada, building on 25+ years of company building & Senior Leadership experience. Eric has been instrumental in driving safe, high quality, on time & on budget Canadian Mega projects. One example is the NextStar Battery plant, a 4.5 million square foot highly complex project, spanning over 3 years, and the first of its kind in Canada. Sylvan was a design-assist, multi-trade partner on the project and instrumental in its launch where Eric supported the operations successfully and with passion.

With a focus on building a winning culture, driving operational excellence and process innovation – Eric leverages his experience in LEAN methodologies including T/VSM, 5S, Visual Management, Pull Systems, and TPM. Eric is a key driver of Sylvan’s AI integration and process adoption to help eliminate waste and optimize decision making – advancing the value we bring to each project.

Eric is an enthusiastic leader who emphasizes a balance of agency and collaboration in getting the job done. Each day and project bring dynamic challenges and Eric understands navigating these moments is pivotal in keeping the Team aligned and focused on winning.
