Brian Bettridge is a dedicated Health and Safety Specialist with over 15 years of leadership experience in guiding diverse companies towards maintaining high safety standards. Brian’s expertise includes incident investigations, safety training, and the development of corrective action plans. He is well-versed in health and safety legislation in both Canada and the US, and is experienced in conducting safety observations, hazard assessments, and rescue operations. Brian now oversees Safety across the full Sylvan Global family of companies and recently led the launch of Novara Flex, a new computer-based Safety Platform that brings Safety Forms, Quality Forms, the Training Database, safety documentation and resources, toolbox talks, and equipment tracking into one place, accessible by mobile app or desktop.

Brian’s focus is on building a world-class Safety Team that provides communication, innovation, and instills trust and safety for all Sylvan employees. He is known for his energetic and engaging approach to safety meetings and training sessions, making him a valuable asset to any organization committed to workplace safety.
