As Human Resources Director, Andrea Bloom partners with management across every level of Sylvan’s enterprise to shape the talent strategy behind the company’s growth. She focuses on workforce planning and building solutions that strengthen operational efficiency while keeping talent management aligned with the business’s needs. Over more than 13 years in HR, she has led talent engagement strategy, performance management, employee wellness and safety, and training programs that have become core to how Sylvan develops its people.

Before joining Sylvan, Andrea held positions as Senior Human Resources Manager and Regional Human Resources Manager within the manufacturing, distribution, and transportation sectors. Her leadership strength lies in building meaningful relationships that drive process improvements and translate directly into stronger retention and organizational development — the kind of steady, relationship-first HR work that keeps Sylvan’s teams supported and engaged.
