First Hospitality Chiller Pump Installation

Sylvan’s Service team completed a retrofit project to address water pressure issues impacting the facility’s cooling tower and chiller system performance. The existing conditions caused the chillers to cycle off, resulting in reliability concerns and costly temporary cooling solutions during peak summer months.

The project included: Removal and off-loading of two existing chilled water pumps, rigging and installation of two new chilled water pumps, associated piping modifications and connections, disconnection and reconnection of system components, and final terminations and startup performed by Sylvan technicians.

Sylvan delivered a cost-effective solution, proving a proposal approximately 20% lower than a competing contractor while addressing the facility’s system performance issues efficiently. 

The upgraded pumps are operating as required, restoring proper water pressure and eliminating the need for a temporary chiller during high-demand periods.
