This TIGER building is a single-story structure combining both geoexchange utility facilities and operations spaces to expand the University’s capacity to deliver thermal energy.
Sylvan was contracted for rigging and setting 14 pre-fabricated pipe racks
with the heaviest rack weighing 58,000lbs. Also included in our scope is rigging and setting of all the major equipment including two 100,000lb chillers. We are contracted to install approximately 220 loose pipe spools ranging from 2”-30”.
This project supports the University’s shift towards more sustainable production of energy and is a critical component in Princeton’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2046.
